Data protection declaration

The protection and security of personal data are a high priority for us. We therefore collect, store and use your personal data in strict compliance with the regulations of all applicable data protection laws. In this notice, we wish to inform you of the types of data we process, for which purposes and the rights you are entitled to in this regard.

1. Anonymised data collection and processing on this website

When you visit this page, our web server automatically collects log file data and stores it in an internal log file that is transmitted via your browser. This relates to the following data:

  • the type and version of the browser you are using,
  • type and version of the operating system you are using,
  • URL of the page from which you came to us,
  • IP address of the requesting computer,
  • search words you used to find our page,
  • date and time of access to our website,
  • names of the subpages you have accessed.

We collect and process these data in anonymous form, i.e. no specific person can be identified on this basis. The purpose of data collection and processing is the evaluation for internal system-related and statistical purposes. This data will not be disclosed to any third parties, whether for commercial or non-commercial purposes, unless disclosure is required by law.

2. Pseudonymised data collection and processing on this website

If you have registered on our website, we will continue to collect and store the aforementioned from your access to our pages in pseudonymised form. This means that this data is linked exclusively to an internal indicator, but not to your name or other identification features. The data is not assigned to your person. The purpose of data collection and processing in pseudonymised form is to enable us to create user profiles, which in turn allows us to design our products and our advertising to meet your needs.

If you do not wish a user profile to be created, you can simply notify us accordingly. You will find more information on exercising your right of objection under "Right of objection and revocation".

3. Cookies

We use so-called "session cookies" for our websites in order to facilitate your use of our websites. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser. Setting cookies allows our web server to recognize your browser, your individual settings on our web pages and, if necessary, parts of the login data in encrypted form, thus making it easier for you to use our pages and enabling automatic login. These cookies do not retrieve any personal information stored on your hard disk and do not alter your PC or its files. Most browsers are set to accept cookies automatically. Your browser settings allow you to refuse cookies, delete cookies from your computer, block cookies or receive a request before a cookie is set. The cookies we set are deleted from your computer after each session.

4. Use of your personal data

We use your e-mail address to complete a registration process on our pages via a confirmation e-mail and to send you confirmation e-mails for the orders you have placed.

Personal data is only collected or processed if you provide this information voluntarily, e.g. as part of an inquiry. The personal data provided to us is secured by taking all technical and organizational security measures in such a way that it is inaccessible to all unauthorized third parties according to the current state of technology. If very sensitive data or information is sent, it is nevertheless advisable to use the postal service as an alternative, as complete data security by e-mail cannot be guaranteed.

For the transmission of our newsletter or other offers of interest to you, we also only use your e-mail address if you have given us your consent. You have the possibility to revoke your consent at any time and to stop receiving newsletters and e-mails from our company. You will find more information on exercising your right of objection under "Right of objection and revocation".

4a. Data protection information on tracking tools (e.g. Google Analytics)

We have found that the data provided by such a tracking tool is of no real benefit to us and we have accordingly not evaluated such data in the past. We have therefore decided not to use Google Analytics to track our visitors in the future.

4b. Contact form

If you send us enquiries using the contact form, your details from the enquiry form, including the contact data you provided there, will be stored only for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We will not disclose this data without your consent.

The data entered in the contact form is therefore processed exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke this consent at any time, simply by sending us an informal e-mail. Revocation shall not affect the legality of the data processing carried out before your revoke.

4c. Newsletter

If you have consented to the use of your e-mail address to receive our newsletter and to receive offers, you have also given us the following declaration of consent. We have recorded your declaration of consent.

Consent to the use of my e-mail address

I would like to be regularly informed by Exte GmbH of new offers and hereby subscribe to the newsletter and agree to the relevant use of my e-mail address. 5. Right to information, correction, blocking and deletion of data

Upon request, we will provide you with information free of charge at any time and in accordance with the provisions of Art. 15 EU-GDPR (Right of access by the data subject) regarding data pertaining to your person, its origin, recipients of this data and the purpose of storage. You can obtain this information from the contact details below.

If the legal conditions are fulfilled, you are entitled to correct, block or delete this data. Please contact us at the address below.

6. Right of objection and revocation

You have the right to object to the use of your data for the creation of user profiles and to revoke any consent given to us. We shall then not process your data for the purposes indicated.
