Reinforcement continuity system with longitudial and transverse denticulation

Single row / standard type stirrup form = type ”I“ / length of element 125 cm

Advantages of BWA longitudial and lateral interlocked:

  • For an optimal direction-independent shear transfer in longitudial and lateral direction.
  • Does not require certification regarding to the surface conditions in the construction joint.
  • Lower weight compared to reinforcement continuity systems made of steel plates.
  • Bars of high ductile reinforcement steel B500B according to DIN 488.
  • Classified as ”interlocked“ according to the DBV-code of practice.
  • The plastic storage box must be removed, resulting in a monolithic concrete joint, which is not a foreign object compared to the steel sheet storage box.

Application:

  • After striking the formwork, take off the casing lid and bend the bars outwards.
  • Remove the indented plastic casing using the straps attached.
